Scaled an annual merit program from 2,000 employees to over 12,000 employees. Led compensation activity for 5 acquisitions. Successfully completed 2 HRIS system transitions, most recently a conversion to Workday.

-Led an on-time, on-budget merit review for over 10,000 employees and bonus payment for over 1,300 employees. Ensured merit and bonus programs were aligned globally. Strategized with business leaders to address compensation initiatives within the merit process. Prepared presentations and reporting on the merit process and outcome that were presented to the Executive Leadership Team.-Currently leading a compensation project to define a new compensation philosophy, consolidate and harmonize current job titles, create leveling criteria to build the foundation of career paths and benchmark jobs.

-Worked on a cross-functional project team tasked with transitioning our HRIS system from Lawson to Ultipro. Responsible for system and data design as well as payroll validations to ensure the system was ready for go-live. Successfully transferred 6,000 employee records to Ultirpo. -Administered merit and bonus programs for over 2,500 US based employees, including multiple newly on-boarded employee groups across several states.

-Spearheaded annual and quarterly open enrollments for over 10,000 full-time employees.-On-boarded 500 new employees acquired in an acquisition, lead presentations detailing changes to business procedures and benefits.-Managed relationships with our 401(k) vendors, 401(k) Investment Committee and consultants to ensure seamless operation of the retirement plans.-Analyzed up to $1MM in weekly medical claim data to spot trends in the cost of our self funded medical plan.-Took on the coordination of two self-funded medical plans, in addition to retirement assets covering over 4,000 employees.

-Advised business owners, for businesses ranging from 2 to 900 employees, on retirement plan design and implementation.-Worked on consulting projects for clients including plan analysis, plan terminations, and cost impact studies.-Liaised with the Department of Labor (DOL) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) during plan audits.-Maintained working knowledge of retirement plan legislation, including extensive familiarity of ERISA laws and regulations.

Learned the ins and outs of retail banking while rotating between multiple departments within the bank. Spent time in Wealth, Lending, Customer Service, and Business/Personal banking.

Performed financial and legal analysis to assist a $10B energy firm in achieving its growth target of doubling in size over a three year period. Researched potential acquisition targets to deliver against a $7B bond issuance aimed at expanding the company’s investment in alternative energy assets in Western Europe and the Mediterranean.
