Oversees $3.6M annual program & shore plant valued at $231M. Provides daily logistics support to 600+ personnel on Base w/ 16 tenant commands. Directly support 3,000+ CG personnel & 4,000+ CG family members at 2 Sectors including subordinate commands. Syncs DCMS efforts of LC/SCs Technical Authority w/ Base Dept duties.

Saudi Arabia

Deputy Program Manager of Maritime Infrastructure Protection Force Training & Advisory Group (MIPFTAG): In-country advisor to senior executive US/Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Program Directors (PDs) & senior officers in support of Title 22/$46M Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case to build/ organize/train/equip/ & sustain a 6,100 member Maritime Infrastructure Protection Force (MIPF) from the ground up. Supervises 6 officers, 7 senior enlisted, 2 civilians & 12 contracted interpreters

Logistics service provider to Coast Guard District Seventeen in Southeast Alaska; lead & aligned efforts of 18 officers, 142 enlisted & civilians w/ strategic & regional operational needs of 800 personnel dispersed across 3 remote AK locations; directly supports 28 AK units. Responsible for safety, admin, organization, good order & discipline; supervises 160 members through direct interaction/close coordination to fully integrate mission support & ensure force readiness across 7 Base depts, Patrol Boat haulout facility, & Small Arms Firing Range.

Technical Assistant Field Team (TAFT) Responsible for the execution of joint team providing maintenance and logistics support to 13 Caribbean partner nations. Leads diverse, cross-functional 12 member team of USCG & US Army officer & enlisted personnel in a unique partnership funded by Dept of State (DoS). Provides real-time technical support to partner nations through remote & local means, including personnel deployment to increase partner nation capacity in illegal trafficking through interdiction & apprehension capabilities. Responsible for team welfare, training, & government property. Oversees execution of $9.7M budget IAW with DoS funding requirements.

Prepare system layouts and detailed drawings and schematics to Inspect marine equipment and machinery, and draw up work requests and job specifications. Conduct environmental, operational, or performance tests on marine machinery and equipment. Design and oversee the testing, installation, and repair of marine equipment. Investigate and test machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with standards. Coordinate activities with regulatory bodies to ensure that repairs and alterations are done safely and at a minimal cost. Prepare technical reports for use by engineers, managers, or sales personnelPrepare cost estimates, contract specifications, and design and construction schedules. Maintain contact with contractors to be sure that the work is being done correctly, on schedule, and within budget.

17 weeks Officer Candidate training

Technical instruction on basic electronics, digital circuit theory, and communication fundamentals, using advanced computer trainers and the communications equipment used throughout the Coast Guard fleet. This course encompasses the use of test equipment, technical publications, and troubleshooting methods used for corrective maintenance to the lowest repairable level.

Electronics Technician: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and management of sophisticated electronic equipment, including command and control systems, shipboard weapons, communications receivers, and transmitters, data and voice-encryption equipment, navigation and search radar, tactical electronic detection systems, and electronic navigation equipment.Installation and setup of telephone equipment s and installation of fiberoptics cable.
