I am proud to say that I was part of a group of friends and my brother included who helped start a roofing company from scratch. We started in a small storage building with a small office and worked our way up in just 5 years, turning it into a nationwide company with 7 locations spread out over Texas all the way up to Colorado, Utah, and Indiana. It was a challenging journey, but we managed to grow and evolve, eventually upgrading to a huge corporate office with a large warehouse. I started as a Sales rep and quickly worked my way up to becoming a sales manager. I was responsible for leading a team and training them to quickly become successful in this line of business. I am also a jack of all trades but the thing I love doing most is graphic design, So that said I did all the digital graphics for the company, from Logo Design to Magazines, Business Cards, Flyers, Ads, Yard Signs, and more. At this same time, I did design services for other companies and some individuals on the side. As I took on more responsibility, I started event coordinating and worked with Home Expos events, home builder shows, and other organizations. Then started the insurance supplementing department and quickly grew that, overseeing a small team running supplements. Shortly after, I got promoted to Regional Director where I oversaw each branch, ensuring they ran according to our company standard. It was a challenging position, but I took on the responsibility of hiring and letting go of employees and faced tough decisions. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this successful company. Now I am looking for a new path, a new career where I can utilize my skills and experiences and further myself to meet new goals.
