I have worked in the timber industry since leaving school, after completing a 6 month youth training scheme, I managed to secure full time employment with John Woyka a timber yard in glasgow. My current employer (Timbmet) took over the business and I have undertaken several roles in my 39 years with the company from labourer to machine operator then tool room operator, Health and safety manager and my current position of Mill Manager.
