Graduated Cum Laude December 2023 from Iowa State University with a bachelors degree in Materials Engineering with specializations in Polymers and Ceramics.Completed an REU in Summer 2022 at the University of Southern Mississippi with their polymer engineering program. Worked on characterizing and optimizing a conductive polymer film through adjusting synthesis for use in flexible electronics.Worked as a peer mentor for the ISU Materials Engineering learning community. Beyond sharing advice and experience to first year materials engineering students, I worked with department advisors and other peer mentors to create lessons and events for the learning community and the department at large.I completed my Eagle Scout in 2019 and have worked several years at the local scout camp as an aquatics counsellor.
