I've spent many years (6+) in retail, from customer service to sales management, then transitioned into a startup construction labor company fresh on the ground in the Seattle area and ran their Washington branch of operations as the sole US employee with help from HQ in Toronto from 2019 until the pandemic hit when I was furloughed and then a couple months again in 2021 to supervise the branch temporarily. While I was in charge of the WA branch, I grew it from a start of 2 active workers to a peak of over 60 active workers in less than a year and made the company profit on their first year in business with growing potential to exceed goals the following year. I loved working for that company and had great relationships with all levels of management working there. I've dabbled in PHP software development, and have since been delving into stocks and options trading with several groups of experienced traders to save up and buy a house for investment and retirement, as well as getting more involved in writing music and building communities with like-minded people that want more out of life! I have a wide variety of experience and I love working with people, but do just as well working alone with clear goals to achieve. After returning full-time towards the end of 2022 as US Ops Manager, MGR had gone through a total systems overhaul due to the recommendations I gave them from 2020. We moved from Excel apps and form to email captures, over to custom-designed web apps and CRMs like salesforce and Exelarware. I worked for a short stint in this position during the slow season before finally leaving the company in January 2023 due to personal circumstances and opportunities. -
