CurrentVice President of Technical Services that advanced rapidly upwards through the project engineering ranks within one of largest independent liquid terminal and pipeline operators in the United States, responsible for project engineering and equipment/facilities integrity to support over 9,500 miles of pipelines.► Responsible for strategic leadership and oversight to the technical services department to ensure the safe, efficient and cost-effective operations and maintenance of assets throughout North America. Directly responsible for pipeline, terminal, and storage operations, including maintenance, reliability, and integrity management. Annual OPEX budget $32M / CAPEX budget $10M.► Formulated the strategic vision for the technical services department, aligning with NuStar’s business objectives; set departmental objectives, achievable goals, and defined performance indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and growth. Manage a team of 59 personnel. ► Implemented Predictive Maintenance (PDM) program to optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of NuStar's assets; decreasing unplanned downtime and emergency maintenance of assets. This included implementing a comprehensive vibration analysis program on over 1,000 pieces of rotating equipment.► Developed a comprehensive Facility Integrity Management program that incorporated a 7-year plan to perform API 570 baseline inspections on over 500 facilities.► Developed and manage the departmental OPEX budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support operations and capital projects; identified cost-saving opportunities, managed expenses, and maximized ROI. ► Worked to drive a culture of continuous improvement within the technical services department, identifying opportunities for optimization, technical innovation, and efficiency enhancement. ► Mentored the development of a high-performing team, providing coaching, and professional development to enhance skills.
