My second time working for the Walt Disney company was on their Fantasy cruise line as a room server. In many aspects the job was very similar to my previous Disney role of front of house waiter at the Rose and Crown, however there were new challenges to face and skills needed. Due to the restaurants being open for breakfast, lunch and dinner I had maintain professional and good spirited through longer shifts to ensure I provided the prefect Disney experience for every guest. Working as part of a team meant that we had to look for ways to consolidate service and increase table turns,allowing all guests to be seated.Near the end of my contract I was trained in the fine dinning restaurant `Palo` and I enjoyed my time there which has given me a drive to search for work in other luxury establishments.

One of my greatest achievements has been owning and running my own restaurant which was based in Dinas Powys. As an owner I oversaw all elements of the business, the main area being management of staff, motivating and training staff to ensure we provided the best possible service to every guest. There were many areas of the business which I managed, this included; marketing, hiring, performance reviews, stock control, complying with legal requirement and managing profit and loss.

At the age of 19 I achieved my dream of working for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando. Here I was trained by the leading company in the hospitality industry.I worked as a waiter and spent my time playing my role in creating the Disney magic as well as educating our guests on my culture.I would be in charge of my own section and responsible for maintaing the high Disney standard of customer service while practicing efficiency and up selling to help keep the U.K pavilion the top sales location in EPCOT. After 3 months I was selected for the ‘Train a Trainer’ course and would go on to train new cast members joining the U.K pavilion.
