Coached youth baseball Federation for 12 seasons with concentration on pitching, most the age group i worked with was 15U. I did manage 2 teams in which I look back and realize I did't job, helped them improve as well learn to play different positions. I have taken the past 2 seasons off too watch and work more one on one with my son. He's becoming a very good power hitter, he has always been able to hit. This season he led the team in HR's as well extra base hits, so many triples , due to the fact 99.9 % of the fields had no fences. I have decided to start coaching again but just as a pitching specialist, I do continue to attend clinics when possible. I don't like to see these young men throwing curve balls, when their young arms are not developed well enough for those muscle movements. That's my opinion as a pitching coach. Many agree with what I say, but there just as many whom may disagree.
