I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida with a major in Business Administration, a minor and specialization in Mass Communications, and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I recently began my role as a Contract Specialist for the Department of the Navy at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), where I am eager to apply my skills and background to support essential defense contracting and training initiatives.Throughout my academic journey, I developed a strong interest in global business and leadership, which led me to join the Global Business Society (GBS) as a Global Gator Guide in 2021. This experience introduced me to a vibrant international community and inspired me to take on further leadership roles within the organization. I was honored to serve as Vice President of Communications from Fall 2022 through Spring 2023 and later as President during my senior year. In these roles, I facilitated cross-cultural exchanges, organized large-scale events, and directed team initiatives that connected students from diverse backgrounds with opportunities for professional and cultural growth.During my term as President, I was proud to lead over 100 members from various international universities, guiding our team to receive the Bright Idea Award for excellence in inclusion and educational initiatives within UF’s Heavener School of Business. Additionally, I was deeply honored to be the first recipient of the Global Business Society Leadership Award and to be inducted into the GBS Hall of Fame.My experiences with GBS, combined with my academic background, have instilled in me a passion for fostering diverse perspectives and driving collaborative success—values that I am excited to bring into my work with the Department of the Navy.
