Information Technology Program Manager
CurrentSupporting the National Institute on Aging Intramural Research Program, Applies leadership and management practices that engage project teams and support collaboration across functional groups. Establish and maintains cooperative working relationships with a diverse group of staff members, stakeholders, and customers. Collaborates with key stakeholders to establish, communicate, and implement program strategy. Work with stakeholders to define clear program objectives, agree on priorities, communicate progress updates, resolve conflicts, and evaluate organizational impact. Identifies and implements key performance indicators (KPI’s) to monitor and assess program performance. Analyzes program and project management needs and tailor industry best practices to suit the customer environment. Implements and develops agile practices to provide responsive and effective management solutions.Establishes continuous improvement processes to progressively mature the program and performance across operations and projects. Works with key stakeholders to develop and adopt organizational change management strategy in support of the program’s new operational processes. Work with team leads to develop risk management strategies and engage appropriate stakeholders to mitigate risk, resolve issues, and/or take advantage of opportunities. Established mechanisms to ensure the required level of program documentation and communication. Mentors as needed to ensure consistency and adherence to standards. Serves as the program point of contact for customer leads and the Program Management Office and provides regular program updates including presentations to the executive audience. Work with Program Management Office and Program Director to ensure appropriate staffing to meet program objectives.
