As a Pre-Medical student majoring in Health Sciences (B.S.) at Furman University with a strong academic background and practical experience gained through volunteer work at Prisma Children's Hospital and around my college community, I am deeply committed to pursuing a medical career as an aspiring MD. My academic journey is driven by a profound interest in the complexities of the human body, a dedication to advancing medical knowledge, and, most importantly, improving the quality of life for the people I impact. I have over five years of professional experience, particularly in customer service. I am a Research Student at the Prisma Health Cancer Institute at Greenville Memorial Hospital, working directly with cancer patients. After the conclusion of my sophomore year, I conducted summer research through the Health Sciences Department at Furman University as an Undergraduate Research Fellow. I am heavily involved in my community through Furman as the current Community Partner Coordinator for Prisma Health Children's Hospital through Heller Service Corps, with 135+ documented clinical volunteer hours. I was also a Programming Coordinator and current Mentor in Furman's Men of Distinction. I am an active brother of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Through Sigma Chi, I was the Service Chairman, served on the Philanthropy Committee, and was Pledge Class President. I also attended the yearly Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop (KTLW) at Bowling Green State University in August 2023, where I earned my Servent Leadership certification. I have also earned many other certifications, including in Supervision and Leadership through the Community College of Allegheny County and numerous health-related certifications from my activities and interest in medicine.
