For 35 years, Bill Cass has been a successful trial and litigation attorney. The vast experience and litigation savvy he has developed in that time, combined with his attention to detail and zealous advocacy in client representation both in and out of the courtroom in his handling of complex and high damages matters, have led clients and colleagues to comment that Bill is “one of our top legal minds.” Bill graduated Jesuit High School in 1975. He graduated LSU in Business Administration in 1979. Bill graduated LSU Law School in 1983. Bill’s practice began in 1984 with the Courtenay Forstall firm, where he became an equity partner. His practice has also included work with several other well-regarded firms, including Larzelere Picou, Rene A. Frederick & Associates, and Shofstahl Law Firm. Bill is an accomplished trial attorney with numerous first chair jury and bench trials in courts throughout Louisiana. Bill has also worked on multi-party litigation matters pending in other states. Bill’s appellate/writ experience has included actions in Louisiana state appellate courts, the Louisiana Supreme Court, and the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeal.Bill’s experience on both sides of the aisle, representing plaintiffs and defendants primarily in personal injury/wrongful death actions and in business/insurance litigation over the course of his practice, has allowed him to become a much more effective and complete lawyer on behalf of his clients.
