The Sr. Director Manufacturing & Supply Chain will report to the COO of Senseonics and own the development and execution of the company’s supply chain and manufacturing strategy. The objective is to aggressively pursue excellence and reliability in all aspects of production and supply chain. This role partners with all components of the Supply Chain to provide broad-based solutions. This role develops supply chain and flow path solutions for the network to improve cost, quality and speed of production. The position provides analytical expertise and project management for initiatives related to production, quality, shipping/receiving and inventory management.

Key leadership position that is an active member of the Site Leadership Team. Leadership expectations to influence and drive improvement at a functional and cross-functional level in all aspects of the site operations. Accountable for all site supply chain activities including: site production planning in a 3 year master schedule, manufacturing finite schedule, site logistics operations from inbound materials, inventory management, through to outbound finished product. Responsible to ensure team of 40+ staff are compliant with all aspects of GMP, Safety and Environmental, and Import/Export regulations. Key aspects of operational responsibilities include: leading the the Supply Chain function in the maturation of Lean Operational practices, building and improving associated business processes that drive the site operations, identifying talent and driving growth of that talent in the organization, budget adherence and spend improvement on functional budget of $10M and raw material inventory of $50M.

Current position entails management of 6 staff focused on direct and indirect materials management, production planning, facilitation of inventory planning process and governance for the Colorado production location, project lead for Colorado production location on multiple global initiatives, facilitator of operational excellence principals for my team, primary support for GMP inpsections related to my teams activities.

12 months dedicated to inventory management training program followed by 8 months of shift management in the Denver distribution center. Duties encompassed management of the shift, some scheduling of transportation, and hiring/firing and shift capacity oversight.
