Liaising with sales team and operations teams to ensure measures were taken to reduce costs and enforce negotiations with suppliers. * Supervise the debt collection system and providing triggers for payment collection on a weekly basis to ensure efficient cash management and healthy cash flow for the company. * Performing bank reconciliation on monthly basis. This included 3 foreign currency banks and 3 local banks. * Involved in annual budget preparation based on management report prepared. This included interviewing the core employees pertaining to the matter of standard operations procedures (SOP) for each task.* Evaluating the treasury system flow to identify loop holes that exist in the system and provide recommendations and solution to minimise the probability of fraudulent activities.* Identifying, managing and reporting on risks such as financial risk and currency risk and advising solutions to minimise the exposure toward the risks identified. * Reporting to management on the existence and effectiveness of the internal controls system. This included the proper authorisation for payments, personnel approvals to assess private and confidential information, proper safeguard measures for company assets etc.* Liaising with internal auditors to monitor precautionary measures and contingency plans that were in place and determining whether these measures were sufficient in the event of unexpected occurrence.* Involvement in Due Diligence cases and performing financial and operational audits for companies that wanted to be sold.
