I am an extremely creative person with a very keen eye for design and attention to detail. I am currently a Recruiter for the National Citizen Service Trust, responsible for managing relationships with a number of schools in the South West region, as well as presenting our programmes to their students, sometimes to cohorts of over 300 students at a time! I also have stong links in graphic design and youth work thanks to my previous employment and education.I have a very strong interest in helping and fundraising for local and national charities and organisations, and have done so for most of my life. One day I may need the services these charities provide and so who am I to deny them the help they deserve?I will forever be there for people who need a simple helping hand. So many times throughout my life people have been there to help me, help develop my skills, and give me a word of advice, and so with that, plus my own life experiences, I will always do my very best to assist those around me.

Abbey Butchers, trading under Ken Tallis Foods is a family run business within the food and catering sector, and a business I have worked for and helped for many years. Approached by the owner, I was asked if I would consider managing the store and help it push onwards and upwards, developing it into a much loved, successful heart of the town business, aimed at providing something for everyone. The store itself is a Butchery and Delicatessen which produces a huge range of products every day. As part of my role, I was to also manage the outside catering aspect of the business and increase bookings for Pig Roasts and Events, which is something I have always been passionate about. Every day on the job involves being completely organised, prepared and motivated for whatever could occur in what can be a very fast-paced, extremely busy environment. Keeping customers happy is something that is always at the forefront of my mind when making decisions, and something that is crucially important at such a touch economic time for small businesses. Ncs Engagement Worker
As part of a TUPE movement from Gloucestershire College I had a short lived, but enjoyable time with Young Gloucestershire.
Ncs Engagement Assistant
My role as the NCS Engagement Assistant consisted of more than it sounds like. This required a good level of public speaking as well as maintaining relations with these organisations. Along with this I was involved in the design and delivery of presentations in schools and youth organisations/settings and assisting NCS Co-ordinator in the recruitment process end to end.I also managed our local social media pages and marketing, which required me to keep on top of brand quality and keep in line with brand expectations. I managed and designed all aspects of our social media pages. Being a young creative minded graphic designer enabled me to create new posts on an almost daily basis. Because of my graphic design background, I also managed the design and production of materials and resources throughout the department. I assisted the coordinator in all aspects of the delivery of the NCS programme within Gloucestershire college, including organising and designing all phases of the programme; risk assessments and post project paperwork, as well as being out on programme to tackle problems on the front line hands on. I also implemented our local graduate programme, which gives previous participants on the NCS programme a chance to continue their journey with us. Doing this job enabled me to do the two things I love in life. My two passions are being able to create eye catching designs through graphic design, and making a positive difference to the lives of young people, the very people that will one day be running our country. Investing my time in that, is investing in life. Show less

Having been very creatively led for most of my life, and having previously leaned towards product design and 3D art, Graphic Design very quickly became second nature. Working alongside the designer for the magazine, I was taught skills across the adobe software, and this along with self teaching, I soon became quite fluent across this and helped in the design of some of the magazines advertisements. This work experience led me to want to continue with graphic design professionally and therefore applied for the Graphic Design course at Gloucestershire College, in which I achieved a Triple Grade Distinction, Distinction, Distinction.I can't thank this organisation enough for what they started for me.
