Designed and released analytic pipelines, internal tooling, and end user web applications to support clinical measure creation and evaluation of pediatric behavioral health conditions.

Developed geospatial analytics and map-based web applications for vulnerability and risk projections of various natural hazards and vector borne diseases. Key Achievements:▪ Developed and deployed land cover change APIs that leveraged raster manipulation techniques and Landsat satellite imagery to predict future urban development trends. ▪ Created a feature segmentation pipeline to extract buildings, trees, and utility lines from LiDAR swaths. ▪ Developed cloud-based, catastrophe models for real time extreme weather events and projected climate change scenarios.

Supported the principal investigators on a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) iPhex Missions Grant by retrieving and preparing data from a network of in-situ rain gauges throughout the Great Smoky Mountains. Key Achievements:▪ Managed operations for 12 Rain Gauges in the Great Smokey Mountains, ensuring proper functionality and performance according to predetermined specifications and SLAs. ▪ Collaborated on the data pipeline that prepared the in-situ rain gauge datasets for the PIs.

Designed a climate catastrophe model to facilitate actions in the event of Sea Level Rise in multiple counties within the United States and Pacific Island territories. Identified potential risks and devised plans to minimize or mitigate impact on general population and rural areas. Thoroughly vetted and supported an economic analysis employed by NOAA’s NCEI as a benchmark to overhaul and restructure initiatives to assess end-user data surrounding weather and climate conditions. Key Achievement:▪ Successfully developed and implemented an open source data viewer to accurately display the Sea Level Rise catastrophe model to outline key elements for project stakeholders.

Key participant on the core team tasked with assessing current electricity co-ops and fiber networks in Western North Carolina. Performed an in-depth analysis on industry best practices and standards to understand the need for fiber optics in the region. Key Achievement:▪ Successfully drafted and delivered an official Request for Proposal (RFP) to Verizon, AT&T, and Spectrum to explore a partnership opportunity to provide fiber optic internet to five counties in Western North Carolina. Designed an effective presentation outlining the benefits of implementing fiber optic internet for specific economic sectors.

Integral contributor on the project team tasked with creating the first ever electronic medical records for patients at Duke Health within Epic EHR. Key Achievement:▪ Designed and utilized the workflow to organize, scan, and create patient medical records in Epic EHR.
