Valdez Marine Terminal projects include: loading arm leak testing procedures, replacement of loading arm block valves, dynamic pipe stress analysis for relief piping (to include comparison of predicted and actual pipe movements during relief events), demineralizing skid replacement, risk-based upgrades and control valve replacements for waste gas incinerators. North Slope projects include replacement of obsolete vapor pressure analyzers, developing construction plans for the removal of two metering stations. Pump station projects include developing commissioning procedure for injection pump, addition of nitrogen bottle stations for relief valve actuators, pig wax mitigation. Pipeline projects include modeling of pipeline section for Lost Creek to determine loads on failing pipe supports. My work has required me to become proficient with AutoPIPE software and familiar with ASME B31.4. Experience also includes the analysis and troubleshooting of the steam system for a fish processing plant in AK which was having issues with condensate stalling. Was able to solve the problem and make recommendations to improve system efficiency and safety. Alaska Omega Nutrition, Nikiski, Alaska: perform audit for fish processing plant steam system to determine root causes for condensate stalling. Recommended several upgrades to improve safety and efficiency of the plant.Marathon Oil: assist with development of pipeline lowering plans per API 1117.
