I have spent 10 years in a healthcare technology management role maintaining equipment within the hospital system. I assisted the hospital's IT department with making hospital equipment communicate with the network while also performing repairs and routine maintenance on the various medical devices. A lot of the repairs I have seen have involved software issues which inspired me to learn Javascript. I am now transitioning my troubleshooting skillset from repairing medical devices to developing software.
