-Manage the day to day operation of the leisure centre including pool plant, deliveries, coffee dock etc.-Ensure the appropriate health and safety procedures are fully implemented.-Ensure that hygiene and cleanliness is to the highest standard and carry out daily inspections.-Ensure that all accidents & incidents are recorded and investigated in line with the covering procedure.-Ensure that all areas are staffed in accordance with the covering procedure.-Ensure that all staff are properly trained and possess the necessary skills to perform their duties.-Conduct staff training including the induction of new staff.-Develop and agree own training plans and fully participate as required.-Ensure all comments and complaints are handled in line with the covering procedure.-Manage the overall security of the complex and its contents.-Be registered as a key holder with the security company and respond to alarm call –outs as required.-Maintain a first rate image to all clients and actively promote the facility to existing and prospective clients.-Promote teamwork and proactively input new ideas to enhance the efficiency/growth of the facility.-Ensure the safe management and lodgment of cash.
