Graduate Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Culinary Arts Management (level 8) student in Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT). Have successfully achieved a 2.1in the said course and also a 2.1 Bachelor of Business in Culinary Arts (Level 7). Interested in pursuing a career in food industry. I have excellent organisational, problem solving and attention to detail skills, which I have developed through working in five star environments in which a high standard is always expected.Projects I have done in college:Product Creation and Business Plan – Team of threeThe aim of this project was to develop a new product and conduct a business plan. Skills such as creativity, problem solving and teamwork along with a good understanding of the food industry were essential in completing this project. It also entailed developing packaging for the product, using all forms of social media, marketing campaigns and drawing up strategy reports.Student Placement:Six-month placement in a five-star luxury hotel in Belfast called The Culloden Estate and Spa. Here I developed my time management and team working skills, and was promoted to Chef de Partie before I finished my placement.I am a full licences car owner and enjoy being very active with a keen interest to learn more about the food industry and the area surrounding it. I have a strong determination to push myself and enjoy a challenge.
