Managed technical projects related to the development of new product formulations, technical service, and product/margin improvement for compounded plastics. Provided technical support throughout the organization. Specialized in polyolefin technologies with a focus on interior and exterior TPO, recycled resins, and engineered resin replacement, primarily in the automotive segment. - Coordinated with manufacturing teams to ensure products could be produced on a commercial scale - Reviewed, analyzed, and evaluated physical, thermal, weatherable, paintable, and analytical test data - Developed certification packages, technical data sheets, regulatory documentation, etc. - Coordinated the product formulation color requirements with color additive packages and concentrates - Maintained compliance with regulatory agencies related to product formulations (UL, FDA, NSF, etc.) - Interfaced with sales and customers to identify and execute new product development opportunities - Initiated production of sample formulations and compounds while managing project timelines
