I was responsible for daily upkeep and distribution of lighting equipment for events. This involved inventory, planning for fast efficient on time delivery. Building a team with a proper work ethic for excelling in every task we were given. After a bit of change in management I was able to upgrade the skills and equipment used to rig points in the roof and pass on some of my years of rigging experience. We began to follow health and safety requirement during my tenure which had never been addressed prior. Upon leaving I left a strong crew to continue our work.

Touring around the world with one of the world's most Iconic Rock Bands. Responsibilities included pre planning, working with Local Promoters, Stage Crews both Union and non. I was involved in the first 3 flight 666 tours where we played in different continents every few days. A very enjoyable time that included a different stages, environments,cultures, languages and daily challenges making each show look and feel like an IRON MAIDEN show. Other duties involved running up to 100 people on load ins and load outs, getting equipment in and out in a timely manner, keeping track of labor hours and keeping it within budget without letting the crew or event suffer. Strategic planning prior to event with an eye towards things that could go wrong so the solutions were in hand already before they happened. Responsible for following and upkeeping all local Health and Safety guidelines. Being able to think on the fly so each show was as seamless as the one before.

My duties include planning tours and crew. Writing out budgets. Use of Excel Patience and Charm was a must. In Early 1994 I also ran the Warehouse, and did some tours and Auto shows as lighting crew chief.

I spent many years touring with R.A.Roth's acts as Crew Chief, Touring Rigger then Moved off the road to a position as Production Coordinator planning tours which included picking crews planning logistics and the occasional visits to fly the company flag. I would consider this time to be when I received my Masters degree in touring. A truly great environment where I learned as a young student the best way to learn was with my mouth shut and my ears open. A truly good rule for young students.

Learning the tools of my trade from Audio, Backline, Staging and Carpentry, Lighting and Rigging. Our company did many events all around the panhandle area of Florida. During this time period I was taught rigging and then worked as a ground and climbing rigger at Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center and the Albany Georgia Civic Center. Education wise I would say this is where I earned my bachelor's degree. Under this time period our company built 6 channel dimmer packs which was a great experience to learn soldering, circuit tracing and basic electronics. I was also under this time period touring with regional bands around Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North and South Carolina as Monitor engineer, Lighting operator and Backline technician to name a few roles.
