Property Valuation Analyst
Current- Research, compile and verify relevant information including local market research, reviewing published sales and property information
- Adjust the valuation of properties using the sales comparison, market cost or income approach as a result of Request for Reconsideration (RfR), appeals, building permits, sales investigations and property inspections
- Review, process control and approve valuation changes for regular, supplemental and omitted assessments
- Process valuation enquiries and applications (Municipal Tax Applications, Vacancy Rebate, Seniors’ Exemption and Exemption to Taxable) into corporate database and responding to stakeholders with the resolved outcome
- Resolve settlements for reconsideration with property taxpayer
- Prepare and process Minutes of Settlement within regulated deadlines
