 Serve as primary liaison regarding product availability, managing inventory levels at the retail level based on current sales trends and forecasting.  Manage vendor performance, ensuring orders are fulfilled and delivered to and from distribution center on time, resulting in a positive member and shopping experience.  Direct daily management and coordination of internal and external vendor negotiations to maintain operational and process efficiency through all departments.  Evaluate current data and analytics, generating reporting and recommendations for distribution center inventory quantities, with a focus on cost containment, revenue generation and logistics.  Perform cross-functional communication with all levels of staff, ensuring clear and concise direction regarding the facilitation of account needs, including store planning, and visual merchandising.  Utilize SAP to maintain demand, forecasting and system parameters, allocating inventory to achieve KPI target goals.  Train and mentor internal staff relating to the use of current software systems, generating accuracy and efficiency when producing purchase orders.  Monitor KPI performance of stock, sales and inventory planning, plan, process improvement initiatives, and margin planning, guaranteeing assigned merchandise categories are at target. Escalate vendor performance issues relating to KPI performance to leadership team, resulting in resolution management strategy and operational improvement.  Evaluate current inventory strategy and recommend efficiency improvements based on data and findings, providing a roadmap to improvement initiatives.  Ensure SOP’s at all times, maximizing productivity and reducing costs. Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement strategic initiatives in support of company goals
