As the project management assistant for the CASL project I am tasked with managing project finance and accounting activities by interfacing directly with over twenty separate external partner organizations encompassing industry, academia, and national laboratories to maintain accurate procurement data including active purchase orders, contract funding and ceiling levels, and scope of work as to ensure there are no gaps in funding for contributors. I also coordinate milestone tracking activities to maintain accurate scope of work and accurate budget information for all contributors and partnering organizations. This area also encompasses managing incoming milestone reports, research, and documents; reviews documents for adherence to document guidelines and enters into the publication tracking system as needed; manages document admittance to the records management system and ensures publicly releasable research is available publicly.In addition to project management tasks I also manages the software quality assurance documents and records management for the Virtual Environment for Reactor Applications (VERA) code suite as well as training and meeting logistics to maintain adherence to Nuclear Quality Assurance 1 (NQA-1) guidelines. As a part of the VERA QA program I also coordinate efforts to distribute licenses for VERA software to relevant parties working with Radiation Safety Information Computational Center (RSICC) at ORNL.I am also the primary point-of-contact for Virtual Office Community and Computing (VOCC) laboratory, which includes general purpose office space and laboratory space, which includes being primarily responsible for direction of VOCC staff to ensure specialized visualization technology is properly maintained as well as coordinate with external vendors maintain equipment on a quarterly basis as well as coordinating logistics for events held in space include space configuration, technology management, and event execution.

Responsible for performing a full range of administrative functions in support of business needs of the Consortium for Advanced Simulation of Light Water Reactors (CASL), the CASL Division Director, CASL staff members and students. Functions include:• Coordinate collection and processing of program specific documentation into CASL Records Management System (including project milestone documents as well as Business Sensitive and Export Controlled documents)• Coordinate and track CASL specific training needs of CASL staff, contributors, and CASL core partners around the country• Assist with coordination of daily Division Director activities and interfaces• Handles incoming telephone, fax, email, walk-ins, and correspondence • Scheduling appointments and maintaining electronic calendars such as Outlook• Prepares and processes electronic forms. Frequently uses ORNL Administrative Systems, including SAP, Marketplace, PAS, EPM, Smart Services, E-Prop, PALS, TravX, etc.• Prepares letters, reports, and memos in accordance with established UT-Battelle/ORNL guidelines• Arranges domestic and foreign travel for staff and guests including CASL core partners at various national labs, educational institutions, and other related organizations. • Utilizes computer resources to establish priorities, manage schedules and resolve scheduling conflicts of personnel, conference rooms, vehicles and other resources• Preparation of purchase requisitions to request such as materials and services

 Support Analyst within the IT Operations (IT Ops) Team and Nonproliferation Systems (NS) Group under the Nuclear Security and Information Technology Division (NSITD). Responsible for customer/user service and support via phone, email, fax, or in-person for over 20 different NNSA data management applications and over 1,000 users located at all major national laboratories in the United States, Department of Energy (DOE) field offices, and DOE headquarters, as well as users around the world supporting nonproliferation activities.  Regularly evaluate NNSA data management applications for issues and coordinate with the IT Ops Team and NS Group staff to resolve user- and/or application-related incidents. Monitor over 80 ORNL servers that support NNSA data management applications and act appropriately based on issues that arise by coordinating with the IT Ops Team, NS Group members, and/or Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) personnel based on the incident. Provide support for NSITD Group Secretaries with administrative operations functions - needs may include purchasing/procurement, arraigning travel, excess property identification and reduction, etc.

 Primary point-of-contact for the Oak Ridge, TN, branch office coordinating general office operations, facility management, invoicing, purchasing, records management, forms management, space management, and risk management. Recruited and assisted a strong Board of Directors comprising 20 local business and community leaders aimed at promoting American Red Cross fundraising and community awareness efforts. Responsible for meeting preparation and setting the meeting direction with community partners, the Board of Directors, American Red Cross staff and volunteers as well as responsible for retaining meeting minutes and records. Developed new, and maintained existing, relationships with over 30 non-profit organizations, civic groups, and community organizations in the Anderson, Roane, and Campbell county areas as well as the city and county governments in those counties.

 Provided technical guidance and administrative support to volunteers, instructors, and instructor trainers with American Red Cross Health and Safety Services programs including Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED), and First Aid for layman and Professional Rescuers/Healthcare Providers.  Managed 45 volunteer instructors by providing them with materials, coordinating dates for contracted classes, and auditing their records for accuracy. Maintained current and accurate inventory records of Health and Safety Services’ supplies and equipment and guaranteed proper billing and invoicing for customers.
