I provide detailed assistance to eligible or potentially eligible consumers of publicly funded long-term care programs available in Wisconsin on a variety of concerns. I provide referrals, and detailed explanations of individual rights and responsibilities of clients in all aspects of each long term care program. I investigate individual concerns, and employ extensive negotiation skills to resolve concerns informally whenever possible for the benefit of clients. I complete extensive technical assistance for consumers in preparing them for a variety grievances, appeals, negotiation meetings or ongoing care planning processes. Under the guidance of a supervising attorney, I provide direct representation, prepare cases, and write briefs for administrative appeals.
