About William Cullom
Over 20 years’ becoming an experienced Business Process Advisor in software development and database design using various languages and tools. 13 years working with APM (Asset Performance Management software). That experience includes implementing software, moving and manipulating databases via various methods and developing customizations.I know how Asset Management software is used. I have collected requirements from clients and turned those opportunities into information within the APM application or other applications via queries, and dashboards.I have a very strong familiarity with the APM Database design. I have been a Development Manager, Team Lead, Scrum master, and an Audit Team lead in the securities business. Some Accomplishments at Meridium/GE• Accelerated PLSQL scripts for the dB upgrade factory in India. The scripts were to perform a database split. I created modular scripts that can be reassembled in different sequences. Run time is now acceptable, and tool is re-usable.• Taught NYPA users and APM administrators how to use APM Admin. tools in a 3-day class. Created customized training material including GRID (Power) content. NYPA uses the material to administer their customized product.• Created dashboards and queries used to report specific maintenance information on military helicopters. A SME and I created the outline of content, I then implemented the design and figured out the specific dashboards and queries. The dashboards showed maintenance information on the aircraft and their engines.• Customers wanted the APK for APM Mobile to match their company name. I figured out the process, executed and documented it.. • DOW migrating their dBs to SQL Server. I led a Dow DBA on how to use SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) to move their APM data base to SQL. I met DOW regularly, and created scripts to aid them and we successfully moved the data base and documented the process.• I coded a .Net API level SOAP dll to a Live Link document repository. The dll was used to display images selected in APM in SRS, or APM. I found some code online, modified it and converted it to VB.NET.• I led a team to create a .NET Application for Suncor to upgrade and move their dB. Using code generators, code templates and dB scripting, the team took my examples, produced code, and I corrected it and pieced the application together.• Suncor needed hundreds of thousands of work history records moved. They wanted the dates adjusted by time zone and day light saving time. I wrote a set of SQL Functions and a stored procedure to accomplish this.
