I led a team with responsibilities for solution architecture, enterprise architecture, information security, information management, ICT policy, service management planning and ICT procurement. A key part of this team’s role was to identify systems and technologies which will solve business problems and how they can be implemented and supported.

I managed multiple ICT initiatives which improved QCS operational outcomes and enabled organisational change. I worked closely with the business to develop a good understanding of their needs and was able to identify, plan and deliver solutions to meet these needs. This included a strategic ICT digital transformation program, various emerging technologies projects, business analysis and process improvement services, and general system enhancement activities.

I provided strategic analysis, advice and support regarding QCS’ compliance with Queensland Government ICT direction, including strategic plans, frameworks, policies and standards and the mandated Portfolio/Program/Project management methodologies. My focus was to review, develop and implement new systems, tools and processes to reduce risk and support QCS’ alignment to best practice and government requirements.

This included performing tasks such as planning, policy development, ICT baseline collections and compliance assessments. I also interpreted legislation and Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA) artefacts such as frameworks, policies and standards

I provided advice and tools to the IAM Program, focussing on project governance and policy. My purpose was to review project and program documentation such as requirements specifications and solution designs. I also assisted with benefits management, risk management and communications management as required.
