Work with internal customers to identify tool needs, lead local and off-shore developers on building solutions to calibration challenges. Worked with internal teams and suppliers to support industry standards for tools and data exchange between tools - Primarily ASAM & FMI Developed user configurable data analysis and modeling framework to take vehicle data and generate controller calibrations. This tool eliminated domain specific tools allowing faster turnaround on calibrations. Developed Controller Code FMU generation tool that analyzed code that identified variable usage and call graphs for use in simulation. The tool generated an ASAP2 file, FMU code, Virtual RTOS, XCP configuration and Make file to automate FMU generation for full or partial controller code. The code graphs also support code visualization. One of the byproducts was an OBD Review that identified variables used in specific diagnostic algorithms supporting CARB documentation.

This effort saved General Motors over $100 per vehicle by 1996. Developed Controller software architecture and software standards .
