Over that last six years I have worked a wide variety of different jobs from lifeguarding at small neighborhood pools to interning for Goldbeck GmbH. These experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork and asking questions to make sure you understand how everything works. To be able to look through the eye of a consumer and then through the eyes of a business and find the balance that fits both parties. I have been able to help lead groups of people under difficult situations and make sure things can run as smoothly as possible. While studying at Willamette University I was able to be the Aquatics Coordinator and run the pool on campus. When I started there were many different issues that I had to quickly fix to keep our patrons happy as well as the lifeguards. There were many difficulties with this that I could not control, but with the help of the other staff at the athletics facility I was able to get the pool running smoothly and keep the most people I could happy.At my internship with Goldbeck I was able to use my coding experience along with my desire to learn more about engineering to help build an app for e-signatures for the hundreds of documents that Goldbeck has in its multiple languages. I also helped test software to see if it would fit into their design process and help them be more efficient through the design process.
