I have over 18 years as a Safety Professional. I started my career in the Military in 1991 as an Aircraft Electrician and then transitioning to a Pilot on CH47D helicopters in 2000. As a pilot I tracked the role as Aviation Safety Officer managing ground safety, aviation maintenance, mission safety, vehicle safety, strategic deployment safety and environmental issues involved with these. Additionally, I have three years as oversight of the First Army’s safety readiness, preparing National Guard and Reserve units for deployment. I continued in the Safety community after the military with roles as a Safety Manager in a factory and as an Aviation Safety Manager on UH60A/L helicopters. In December 2019, I have transitioned to CGL Companies as a Safety Manager with oversight of building maintenance mostly on government contracted buildings throughout the United States. I have competencies in OSHA 1910 and 1926, DOT, EPA and various other aspects of governmental agencies. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Aeronautics with a minor in Safety and Business from Embry Riddle. Additionally, I have a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University.
