My work over the past twenty years has been focused on the security and safety of people and operations in Australia and throughout the world.After working with the Australian Government, I joined Qantas Airways as International Security Risk Manager, responsible for advising on security threat and risks to its Australian and international operations. As an executive in Security Operations, I recommended and implemented mitigation measures for the businesses, their facilities and personnel.After leaving Qantas, with a colleague, I established AvSec Consulting, a security consultancy providing consulting and training services to the aviation sector. In recent years, AvSec's scope has expanded to other industries both in Australia an internationally. We regularly collaborate with other security consultancies on major projects. I have developing security strategies, security road maps, provided security and safety advice and training, undertaken security threat and risk assessments, audited and reviewed security in cities undergoing periods of unrest, anddeveloped and provided security trainingRecently I have consulted to the Australaian Taxation Office, the Victorian Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants, the Parliamentary Budget Office, the Australian Border Force, the Australian Office of Transport Security, the ACT government, Jet Airways (India), National Airlines (USA), the Singapore Ministry of Transport , the Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (Indonesia), India's International Institute of Security and Safety Management and the Royal Kingdom of Bhutan.
