my name is william devine [he/him]. i am seeking opportunities as a drummer, live audio engineer, & producer within vancouver. i bring a wealth of experience as a professional drummer, music producer, & audio engineer, that includes co-founding the ontario rap, hyperpop, & punk rock collective "rare candyz." my recent roles include working as a live audio engineer at two DIY venues in london: grogettes living room, & the rare candyz dog pit, where I also serve as musical director/curator. while working with these spaces, i have made countless relationships with talented bands, artists, vendors, & other incredible & hardworking people within the scene. my long-term goal in vancouver is to help strengthen the relationship between the west and east coast underground music communities. i aim to help introduce new & existing sounds to both places; create unique lineups that showcase the best of both scenes, across all genres. with 23 years of drumming experience, including nearly 15 years at a professional level, my expertise spans genres such as rock, punk, hardcore, jazz, country, r&b, and rap. additionally, i have 8 years of experience as an audio engineer, both in live settings & studio environments, plus 5 years of professional music production experience.i am confident that my skills, connections, & experiences will be a valuable asset to the vancouver music community. i am available to offer any audio, tech, & other music related services, and am open to volunteer opportunities to further immerse myself in the local scene.please feel free to contact me at (548) 391-6099 or via email at prodbywjd@gmail.com. i am also available to provide references upon request.thank you for your time & consideration. i look forward to the possibility of contributing to the vancouver music scene!
