I served my apprenticeship at H&G Insultations, Otley, West Yorkshire from 1979 to 1983. I then continued to work for this company for around 10 years. Since then I have worked on various projects throughout the U.K. I am experienced in all types of insulation including Rockwool and metal protection and finish. I am also extremely experienced working with Foam glass, Phenolic and Butol. I have worked on insulating pipework, vessels and ducting on various Power Plants, Petrochemical Plants, Oil Refineries and Liquid Gas Plants. I work to a high standard to satisfy the client's requirements and work well within a team. I am conversant in the processes required to prevent chemical reactions between the pipework and the insulation. All work is finished to a high standard within all safety guidelines.
