History Week was established to promote, protect and support the historical places of interest in our local area. It creates awareness of the immensely valuable work undertaken by local groups and organisations, and supports them in their future endeavours. With my past experiences with the development, management and brand creation of Portsmouth & Gosport History, I launched a comprehensive project for the team at P&GH to celebrate our history with a week long itinerary of events. Working alongside large organisations, I have built, alongside my own team; a unique event that will leave a positive legacy for years to come.

Portsmouth & Gosport History came about to with the intention to raise the profile of local history by remembering the brave souls who fought in the wars; researching past events and organising activities and projects to showcase our history.Through my youthful drive and forward thinking energy I developed this community organisation into a fast expanding group of people and stakeholders to breath new ideas and projects into the local area - which have positively impacted Gosport, Lee on the Solent and Portsmouth. Building a strong management team to allow this community group to further develop through passionate, friendly, efficient, energetic and professional leadership for years to come.
