As an Occupational Therapist, my objective is to be patient, bring out the best in people, and promote engagement in activities that are of value to the individual and significant others. I have a real passion in motivating people, using their strengths as a key tool for positive change, building a trusting relationship through rapport building, promoting behaviour change and adapting environments to meet the needs of people I work with. I love practicing as an occupational therapist as it allows me to work with people to address barriers through participating in everyday activities and meaningful occupations to promote independence and quality of life. I love the diverse nature of this profession and have a particular interest in mental health and AOD.
