Head of Operational Risk Oversight for Wealth and Investment Management’s: Chief Administrative Office (CAO), Diverse Client Segments (DCS) and WIM Marketing

As Cross-Functional Risk Manager, I establish enterprise policies, procedures, processes, and testing to effectively identify, measure, and manage these risks for the Asset Management, Wealth Management, Brokerage, Retirement, and Corporate Trust businesses and services. I manage a team of professionals in the areas of operational, cross-functional, emerging, reputational, and market risk. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:- Define, identify, and implement operational risk limits and metrics across multiple business lines from a second line of defense standpoint. Provide credible challenge to operating environment in fiduciary business units- Develops processes and systems to provide independent oversight and governance for all fiduciary related risks/businesses in Wells Fargo and ensure adherence to the Wells Fargo Risk Management Framework and “heightened standards” as required by regulators- Works closely with market, credit, compliance, asset management, wealth management and brokerage businesses, and operational risk leadership to provide key input into the development of the independent risk oversight strategy, policies, procedures and controls of the organization and major lines of business- Evaluates internal and external operational loss data to assist in developing, overseeing, and challenging operational scenario analysis and stress test program for Fiduciary businesses

My role as Chief Risk Officer for the Global Corporate Strategy business encompassed the Corporate M&A/Divestitures, Global Principal Investments and Global Strategic Capital platforms reflecting an over $80 billion short duration portfolio. As Global Market Risk Management Executive, I was responsible for establishing Global Funding (Bank Deposit) limits, standards, controls and metrics for the Corporate Investments Group and Corporate Treasury.
