- Design and implementation of Relativity's core flight software platform.- Lead developer of Novascript, a programming language and compiler for automating launch operations.

- Foundational contributor to many of Relativity's key software tools.- Established software design process, continuous integration framework, code reviews, etc.- Programming language / compiler design, fluid simulation development, automated hardware testing.

Worked with a diverse team on automation tools that enable unprecedented speed and safety of launching rockets.- Implementation of a new programming language specifically tailored for hardware automation.- Developed software architecture from the ground up to use remote sensing and autonomous driving to guide robot called the “Octagrabber” to stabilize a rocket after a sea landing.- Contributed continuous integration improvements to SpaceX’s flight simulator, reducing testing time by an order of magnitude.

Developer for a physics simulation engine, enabling both new hardware design and continuous testing of existing flight hardware systems.- Development of a proprietary fluids, electrical, and kinematic physics simulator that is benchmarked to be orders of magnitude faster than any commercially available product.- Development of automation tools for this simulator enabling users to quickly build and test their own simulations.- Design and development of neural network architecture to automatically anchor new models to historical data.

Collaborated with scientists from Princeton University, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, and General Atomics fusion facility to develop the physics and software of plasma stability control.- Characterization of fusion fast ion kinetics through statistical techniques and big data analysis.- Developed analysis software in Python for the DIII-D tokamak fusion reactor.-Continuous integration into a general-use workflow utilized by senior scientists in their own research efforts.

Developed analysis software for reliability testing for prototype nuclear devices in oilfield applications.- Developed novel algorithm for reducing risk of drilling collisions; primary author of companion software.- Wrote data processing software in Python for automatic verification and reporting of hardware testing.- Developed reliability model for product lifetime forecasting; primary author of companion software for database management and reliability tracking.- Developed test software for use in automated hardware tests; e.g., voltage controls, stress cycling, shocks, etc.- Authored neutron detector qualification simulations, tests, and hardware integration.

Principal engineer on rigsite responsible for the operation, maintenance, interpretation, and physics of wellbore measurement technologies. Managed teams in remote locations around the world to successful completion of over fifty drilling campaigns.- Lead engineer with experience across the full suite of drilling technologies; including gamma ray, formation resistivity, nuclear, pressure, and sonic measurements- Consulted for PetroChina, introducing new image technology to the China land operations market, providing realtime image logging for complex geosteering operations- Field tested electromagnetic telemetry techniques in the Colorado Basin, assessing operational viability.- Served as Operational Support Engineer for global operations, providing technical expertise and quality oversight to dozens of simultaneous drilling operations in the United States, Canada, and Asia- Trained new MWD Engineers in field operations, mentoring their professional development
