Designer and Project Architect for Design-Build contractor. Developed SketchUp models and Animations to help win contracts, and then document the designs for permitting and construction.Completed projects include; Kalamazoo Air Zoo expansion, Large Boat and Car Collection Storage Building for Private residence, Hytech Spring and Manufacturing expansion in Plainwell, and Dole Foods renovation and expansion in Dowagiac. Several other light industrial and business projects were not completed.

Led the design development and construction documents phases for the following projects; Portage Public Schools - New Portage Central High School, Oak Pointe Country Club -New Clubhouse, Hillsdale College - Grewcock Student Union and Strosacker Science Center, Fennville Public Schools - New Elementary School. Project Manager/ Designer/ Project Architect on the following projects; New Transportation and Maintenance Building for Portage Public Schools, New offices for Becker Insurance Agency in Portage, and Corridor Renovations at Henry Ford High School for Dearborn Public Schools.

Led the design development and construction documents phases for the Remodeling and Perfoming Arts Additions to 2 High Schools, and 13 Science, Music and Art additions to Elementary Schools for Utica Community Schools. Assisted in the design development and construction document phases for the New Elementary School for Utica Community Schools. Assisted other Project Architects in the design development and construction documents for the New Cass Technological High School for Detroit Public Schools.

Key player in planning, schematic design, design development, and construction documents for a new Public Library in Milford, Michigan. Project Architect for renovation to former Hillside High School for Northville Parks and Recreation. Assisted on Romeo Public Schools addition and renovation projects.

Key player in planning, schematic design, design development, and construction documents for expansion of the St. Patrick School of White Lake and Gretchko Elementary School in West Bloomfield. Led the design development and construction document phases for the following projects; Oakland Community College - Southfield Campus Addition, Ferndale Public Schools - various Elementary School additions and renovations, St. Edith Parish of Livonia - Multi-purpose addition, St. Patrick Parish of White Lake - Multi-purpose addition. Assisted other Project Architects in design development and construction document phases for the following projects; New Tecumseh High School, Wayne Westland Community Schools - various Elementary School additions and remodeling.

Manual drafting on light industrial projects for a Design-Build contractor over the summer break from college and continued as part-time work during my junior year at LTU when I commuted from Kalamazoo to Southfield.

Entry level position for a sole practitioner working primarily on residential projects with a few commercial projects. Both manual and computer-aided drafting.
