Current-Direct reports: Director of Communications, Director of Standards, Director of Risk, Brotherhood Coordinator, Member Development Coordinator, Academic Affairs Coordinator, Housing & Grounds Manager, New Member Education CoordinatorResponsibilities:-Oversee all Internal Operations for the Beta Alpha Chapter-Facilitate communicate on behalf of the 173 members of Beta Alpha Chapter to both IU Greek life and fraternity national governing bodies.-Serve as a voting member of the executive board of the fraternity-Serve as a liaison between Central Office and campus resources-Serve as liaison to the Beta Alpha Housing Corporation-Serve as the Chief Ritualist of the Chapter-Establish and enforce academic standards for the Chapter-Develop and implement an academic assistance program that focuses on academic programming through support and education-Oversee organization of DEI initiative and assume responsibility for its implementation and adherence in conjunction with the Honor Board mechanism.-Oversee Member development through organization of events throughout semester in conjunction with the Administrative Board-Oversee processes for checking in on health and wellness of brothers throughout the semester-Serve as Chairman of Member Development Board-Serve as Chairman for the Board for Internal Affairs-Oversee the nomination and appointment of individuals for the Board for Internal Affairs-Oversee creation and execution of a new member education program that abides by university policy, central office policy, and local, state, and federal laws-Serve as the Executive Board Liaison at all new member education events, assuming responsibility as the highest power at these events-Oversee initiation of new members and serve as their most trusted advisor through this process
