I'm originally from southern California but have spent time living in South Carolina, Minnesota, and now Utah. I've been playing guitar for 15 years, love exploring the Utah mountains with my dogs, and I do enjoy a friendly game of Poker now and then.I'm currently working at High West Distillery as a Quality Lab Technician. I love what I do and feel so lucky that I get to wake up in the morning looking forward to going to work. Before I moved into my current position, I spent 9 months as a blender. I believe that having a background in blending was invaluable to the success I've seen in my current role as it gave me a great foundation in blend formulation and flavor control. A skill that I continue to build upon everyday as a Lab Tech alongside the many other education and learning opportunities here at High West.Before I got into the alcohol production industry, I worked in hospitality as a busser, food runner, host, server, and finally a bartender. Hospitality was challenging but I really enjoyed the diverse interactions I would have on a daily basis. I especially enjoyed bartending. Making cocktails, exploring premium spirits, and sharing my passion for flavor with guests was the highlight of my hospitality experience and what drove me to pursue a career in alcohol production. I haven't looked back since!I have a General Certificate in Distilling through the Institute of Brewing and Distilling and am currently going for the Diploma in Distilling.
