I founded Dymaxion, LLC. when I stepped down as Pres./CEO of Safe-T-Med, Inc. which I also built from an idea to develop the first U.S.P.S. approved Sharps (needles) Mail Back System in America. In two years we became Waste-Management's, sole contractor of our products with their 65 offices and a large sales staff. This all came about from reading The Federal Register due to boardem while caring for my elderly parents. I knew appsolutly nothing about Bio-Hazardous containment systems, sharps containment units, or how they were used and disposed of. Once I learned laws were being put in place to protect Americans with Disabilities, which carries the same name, Americans With Disabilities Act. As I read this government post I realized that all public lodging had to provide a way for Diabetics to dispose of their used needles. In a short period of time I developed a container that was exactly as the law requires but decided to make them work at a cost effective basis they had to be easily sent for disposal. Our system was the answer. We supplied HazMat gear as well as first responders needs. To my knowledge Waste-Management, Inc. acquired STM, Inc. a few years after my departure.

Founder, from a 330 sq' ft.shed to a sales team in 48 states of 246 in our infancy. In many of my entrepreneur undertakings, it was 75% luck 25% street knowledge! The fact is my Ph.D. was a vague title given in honorarium by UNISCO, for funds raised. But I'll take it any way I could have received the honor. By the time my contemporaries where looking for their first job out of Business School, I was making $300K plus a year after starting 4 not so successful businesses. A few years after a dream George was ask by a film maker to use our technical skill and methods to accomplish a few special effects on a little movie. Well after 35 years in Hollywood, George was awarded an Academy Award for Special Effects! The film, Star Wars! My dream, move the camera not the props. Like most things in my life, I had proved my point and moved on to start a new business. Which I sold for more then even I expected. Then I became a Hollywood bad boy, more later?

George Mathers was an Actor, Writer and Film Maker and a wonderful person who gave me the opportunity to learn and grow into a confident and professional video producer. As a boutique film company we made numerous TV commercials, short films and second unit work. I handled sales and business while George continued to work on CGI and Special Effects when the opportunity was presented for him to become Supervisor of Special Effects on his first major project called Star Wars! As a loyal friend he brought me along as his assistant. George received a technical Academy Award for Special Effects. We were no longer a boutique operation. I lost George to emphysema and didn't have the ambition or desire to keep the company open. At the same time my family was having health issues in Florida and I relocated there to care for them.

Hal Collins was a brilliant video editor in the early days of television. He created Offline Editing in the 60s while working with Bob Hope, Milton Berle and every major TV show for 30+ years. His big break through came when he started working with CMX digital computers. We had an opportunity to edit all of the hit series All In The Family. Even after I joined a partner to form a production company I would often work with Hal on numerous projects.
