I am an Assistant Professor in Law at the University of Nottingham, specialising in legal history. I first obtained an LLB in law (1st Class Hons), followed by an LLM in international law (Distinction). After a period working in the legal sector, I undertook an Mlitt in medieval history at the University of St Andrews (Distinction). I then completed a PhD in legal history, also at St Andrews.During the final year of my doctoral research I held a 6-month Scouloudi Junior Research Fellowship at the Institute of Historical Research (University of London).
