I am a Veteran with over 30 years of experience in the US Navy Special Operations community specializing in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). My formal education includes completing a Master's of Science degree from the University of Chicago in Threat Response Management and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Troy State University. During my previous career, I demonstrated successful leadership during numerous high-risk operations throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I was fortunate enough to be promoted rapidly based on my consistently strong performance in organizational management and leadership positions. These promotions allowed me to be a key advisor during strategic planning, staffing, budgeting, operating and resource management decisions. However, what I truly loved about this job was that it required me to perform at my best every day. My previous career provided the type of daily intellectual challenges and emotional growth I am seeking as I begin a new chapter of my life. I am passionate about turning complex ideas into everyday realities. I enjoy finding solutions for difficult problems and designing new processes. I am comfortable navigating up and down the Strategic, Operational and Tactical planning process and am an advocate for analytically validated change. I am excited when forging new ground and look forward to tackling complicated issues.
