William A. Ferrara is an accomplished professional in U.S. Customs and Border Protection, homeland security, and international affairs. He held key leadership positions within the CBP agency, enforcing national security measures and facilitating lawful travel and trade.As the Executive Assistant Commissioner of the CBP's Office of Field Operations from August 2020 to December 2021, he oversaw a workforce of over 33,000 employees, managing an annual budget of $7.2 billion for CBP operations at ports of entry and various programs.Previously, as the Executive Assistant Commissioner of Operations Support, he provided effective leadership and guidance to critical subcomponents supporting CBP operations.
