Working in Water Recycling on sites across the Anglian Water region, with project drivers of Phosphorus, Ammonia, Storm volume increase, Cypermethrin, Total Nitrogen and Flow to Full Treatment (FFT) increase. Also assisting with Commissioning of schemes including site sampling, STEM volunteering and working towards IChemE Chartership.

Working within the Water Recycling Phosphorous portfolio to upgrade sites across the Anglian Water region with equipment to reduce the phosphorous discharged to water courses, as well as within the Storm portfolio to increase the storm water storage on sites to reduce spills to the environment.

I worked on freight check-in at the Port of Dover, which involved;- Handling cash, communicating with drivers of different nationalities and processing hazardous chemical cargos in line with the correct safety procedures.- Committing to my work over multiple summers.- Maintaining focus and attention to detail over 12-hour day and night shifts.- Learning some words in various languages to speed up check-in and put a smile on the drivers' faces.- Adapting quickly to manual procedures during a sudden computer system failure and confidently handling a variety of unexpected situations.
