Following my graduation from the National Engineering University (Peru) and The University of Sheffield ( Englad) where I got distinction in both educational institutions. William Flores has a vast experience in the Steel Industry in both solid and liquid state with 12 years involved in research, project and facing daily operational problems and implement corrective action.All my previous experience gained from all my roles, such as ( quality control manager, research metallurgist at First Subsea, Quality Control manager ,Process Engineer and Process Manager in the steelmaking division helped me not only to improve the metallurgical process, it also helped me to encourage everyone follow the same goal and vision , growing through efficiency and standardisation.As Process Manager in the steelmaking division at Republic Steel, I was responsible for the continued growth of the steelmaking process with new process window in both cleanliness and desulphurization that also end up with the increment of production, Consistency and the standardisation of the process during my administration.As Research Metallurgist at First Subsea Ltd, I led the Development of forging practice and heat treatment for the production of First Subsea connectors for oil and gas field. This project made First Subsea Ltd, the only manufacturer of offshore mooring connectors to achieve ABS type approval for the design and manufacture of large scale forging over 500mm in diameter manufactured in compliance with American Bureau of Shipping(ABS) 2009.As Process Engineer and Quality Control manager in the steelmaking division at Aceros Arequipa, facing the continuous improvement of the plant, providing solution to different problems and cost saving.All this experience allows me the opportunity to interface with more of the business and work with different teams of highly skilled individuals and teams including Engineering, Projects, quality, etc that enriches my professional and personal life
