Edgenta Mediserve, formerly Faber Mediserve Sdn Bhd, is an asset management company that has been appointed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia to provide support services to its hospitals & advisory.As the QHSE executive, I am responsible for works related to Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) that include compliance with policies and procedures, risk management and improvements to business processes in the management system of Edgenta Mediserve that is of the standards ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001. These include improving, providing assurances through internal audits and creating awareness on established policies and procedures that support the accreditation of the management system of the organisation by SGS. In addition, contributions to the development of the quality assurance program (QAP). This as part of the RAMCO Systems ERP module in Edgenta Mediserve that supports MOH’s digital drive nationwide through its CMIS project with a vision towards AI. The QAP module involves root cause analysis of issues from service requests, complaints and incidents reported in hospitals that employs the 7 QC tools & Ishikawa analysis, which are integral to DMAIC (define, measure, analyse, implement & control), for predictive maintenance that mitigates the risks of interruptions to critical services in hospitals. Ultimately, to performance improvements.The management systems of the hospital support services (HSS) in the areas of FEMS, BEMS, LLS, CLS and CWMS aim to differentiate, promote a standard of care by conforming to the organisation’s processes, legislations (OSHA, FMA , EQA, UBBL, AEL, ESA, etc) and industry standards (ECRI, MAP & TRPI) in the services provided by Edgenta Mediserve to manage the healthcare assets of MOH across hospitals nationwide; the northern states and Sabah & Sarawak. Essentially, to fulfil the ESG requirements under the terms and conditions of the concession agreement with MOH, this include the service level agreement (SLA).
