Responsibilities included:• Financial management of the City’s Treasury Department • Supervising the Treasury Accountant and the Utilities Accountant • Managing the City’s collections process

• Overall management of the City’s property taxation process• Managing all aspects related to the tax roll, appeal process, and tax levies• Management of the property tax enforcement process• Financial management of the tax title properties• Supervising the Taxation and Assessment Coordinator• Generating monthly and year end Statements of Account for school taxes

• Recording and reconciling all receipts and direct deposits• Monthly bank reconciliations• Managing the city’s bonds and other investments• Monitoring and reporting on various accounts receivable• Monitoring, reporting and recording for city fund accounts• Providing timely and accurate information to all departments in the organization• Supervising ten accounting support staff
